Why Should I Attend a Camp?
There are a variety of reasons to consider attend an umpiring camp. If you're new to the profession, the opportunity to learn from experienced, professionally trained umpires is invaluable. It's a great way to start a new, challenging and exciting career in America 's favorite pastime. If you're a veteran and have been at it for a while, a camp is a great way to take the dust off and warm up for the new season. Plus a camp is a great way to be seen by a league assigner and/or commissioner; many of which will be in attendance. This can help take you to the next level of officiating baseball.
